Laci Street + Texas: San Antonio

"Remember The Alamo!"

For week three, Laci Street and I ventured even deeper south to visit San Antonio! As the seventh most populated city in the United States, and second largest in the state of Texas, you could say that San Antonio is pretty busy. It's known for many historic locations like the Alamo, and on average the city is visited by 32 million tourists each year. So the minute I arrived, I jumped right in with the rest and saw as much of San Antonio as I could!

With miles of walking and the Texas summer heat in my near future, I knew that I wanted to be both comfortable as well as picture-ready all day! My Laci Street Classic Black Racer Back Bralette worked perfectly paired with a flowy open back shirt and cute summer shorts. So I was off, and my first stop was the Alamo!

Known for it's connections to the Battle of the Alamo in 1836, the mission building was actually built for the education of Native Americans after their conversion to Christianity. The building is truly amazing to look at and incredible to think about all that took place in that location.

My next stop was the River Walk. I was truly amazed at what I saw when I walked down the stairs into this amazing place. Shops, restaurants, and bars lined the edges of a river that winds through and around the city. From above, you have no idea that there is a another level down below!

After walking around under ground, I went back up and into the Pearl District of downtown San Antoino. From what started as a former brewery, now exists an extremely beautiful and lively area to walk around, shop, and eat. The Pearl District is home to the Culinary Institute of America as well as a rustic amphitheater and many delicious restaurants. One that I had the privilege of trying was Lorraine Bakery. Here I tried homemade strawberry pop-tarts as well as macaroons that were almost too pretty to eat!

After my time spent taking it in, San Antonio became one of my new favorite cities. With hopes to go back and experience even more of what the city has to offer, I know that I will be bringing my Laci Street products with me! I felt comfortable and stylish throughout all of my stops in Texas.

Sadly, San Antonio was my last stop on my adventure through Texas… I had an amazing time and every minute I spent down there I fall more and more in love with the amazing state! Thank you so much for joining me on my travels with Laci Street and don’t forget no matter where you are traveling, make sure that your outfit is complete by adding a touch of lace form Laci Street!
